God ( also known as Yahweh, or Allah ), is the sole diety of the Abrahamic religions. He is an imaginary asshole.
Based on who you ask, he had a son, or prophet named Jesus. Jesus is also the human form of god and not a separate being. It's complicated, don't ask questions.
God is also all powerful, all knowing, all present, and immortal. He [responsibility for all the good and evil that happens in the world]. He flooded the earth, instructed the Israelites to murder entire peoples, ruined the life of one of his most devout followers on a dare ( Job ), and promises un-ending punishment in the eternal fires of hell if you say mean things about him.
But he loves you and he needs money. **Don't ask questions.**
